The Navins | Chester Springs Private Estate Wedding

Oh friends, I knew when I photographed Karyn and Danny’s Private Estate Engagement, that their wedding was going to be absolutely amazing. The island that they would be married on was under construction so when I arrived this past weekend for their wedding, I was in total awe. This Chester Springs Private Estate Wedding is definitely one for the books!!

How They Met & The Proposal

Karyn and Danny met the old fashioned way at a little bar by the shore where they hit it off immediately. As these two dated, they embraced life on the sea. They love to go offshore fishing together whenever the weather is right and watching beautiful sunsets together. It was only fitting that Danny worked each of these things into the proposal! They ventured out for an overnight fishing trip on the boat about 70 miles off shore. Unknown to Karyn, Danny snuck a clean change of clothes, music and champagne onto the boat to heighten the surprise. After catching a 60lb yellow fish tuna, Danny snuck off to change and reappeared at sunset to ask her to be his forever! The night didn’t end there- they wanted to get back into the range of cell reception so they could share the good news! Once again unknown to Karyn, Danny had planned for their families to be back on the shore when they returned. Her parents had been in Europe and she thought they were still traveling back, but she was surprised to see them there too! Let’s just say there were many happy tears and EVERYONE except Karyn knew :)

Their Chester Springs Private Estate Wedding

From the little island they built on the pond, to the beautiful tree-lined driveway, I loved everything about this estate. Not to mention the house is beautiful and the views are breathtaking! Karyn and Danny are two super sweet people, who just happened to find each other and are oh-so-right for each other! Not only had Karyn and Danny been dreaming of this day, but Karyn’s dad had envisioned his daughter’s wedding day over 13 years before. He was on a trip when he found little lanterns that he just knew were meant to be at his daughter’s wedding. They were hanging all over the estate and I just loved the thought behind each one :) There were so many unique touches to this wedding day that I just loved. Karyn had originally ordered a bridal bouquet of flowers, but she just so happened to stumble upon a beautiful bouquet made of shells and fish scales! With their history of deep sea fishing and their love for the shore, she knew she had to have the shell bouquet for her wedding day! It was such a true representation of their relationship and their love. I couldn’t have asked for a better couple.

Karyn and Danny, thank you for allowing me a little peak inside your lives. I loved getting to celebrate with you and I hope you enjoy looking back on each and every moment from your wedding day. :)
