This wedding at Appletree Terrace was one I’ve been looking forward to! Alex and Nicole have been together for nearly a decade, and I’ve know Alex even longer! It is crazy to think that I actually new Alex before I met Benjamin in high school! He is one of the few people who knew me as someone separate from Benjamin, which is just nuts! Honestly, my friendship with Alex probably greatly influenced my relationship with Benjamin since the two of them were really good friends. Anyway, back to this beautiful wedding last weekend ;)

How They Met & The Proposal

Alex and Nicole met at Millersville University 9 years ago! On their first date they went out for pizza – who doesn’t love pizza?! After being together for quite a few years and moving to the Philadelphia suburbs, Alex proposed in their Elkins Park apartment! Nicole had been finishing optometry school and upon her return from her externships Alex had the best surprise. He decorated their apartment with candles, orchids AND roses and filled it with pictures of the two of them throughout their relationship!

Their Appletree Terrace Wedding

As we approached last weekend, the weather looked like it was going to be a total washout. It ended up being absolutely beautiful and the perfect weather for an outdoor ceremony! Nicole was so thrilled that their wedding day was actually here and I could just feel her excitement. They shared a private first look before their ceremony and I just love the stone arch at Appletree Terrace. Their ceremony had the most beautiful hydrangea bush behind them as they said yes to their forever!
