This year, simply put, our couples have just been amazing and this past weekend was no different. Heather and Nathan’s black tie wedding at the Omni at Bedford Springs was definitely one of my favorites this year! From the elegant ballroom reception to their stunning outdoor ceremony, every bit of this wedding was so stunning!

How they Met & The Proposal

This love story started 5 years ago when Heather and Nathan ended up at the same bar and exchanged numbers only to find out they lived a few blocks from each other. When they parted ways that evening they actually didn’t connect again until over a year later when they ended up at the same backyard picnic. At that picnic, Nathan asked for Heather’s number a second time… only to realize he already had it!! They put the pieces together and realized they had already met (and hit it off!) before!

When celebrating their 2 year anniversary, they ended up at Greendance Winery. After enjoying some wine and spending time together, they decided they wanted to take a few bottles home. One of the women brought out a bottle and handed it to Heather. As Heather read the words engraved on the bottle of wine, she saw those four words that every girl dreams of… “Will you marry me?” (They even brought the bottle to their engagement session!)

This wedding is one for the books! Heather picked the most stunning gown with full lace sleeves and the best silhouette, let alone the stunning loose florals from Creative Expressions. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for a September wedding and the Grotto at the Omni at Bedford Springs was the most beautiful natural setting for this wedding. One of my favorite moments was when Nathan finally saw his bride as she walked down the aisle to join him by his side forever. They joy these two had from just being together was contagious! I had so much fun celebrating with these two and their friends and family. Congratulations Heather and Nathan! I hope you enjoy this little preview of the beauty of your wedding day :)
