Last weekend we got to spend some time at Lancaster Central Park for the most relaxed pink and grey outdoor wedding. It was a beautiful and slightly unexpected warm day, but Nicole and Bill celebrated with their closest friends and family and even had a Taco Bar!!
How They Met & The Proposal
Nicole and Bill met because of a mutual friend that was determined to see that they got together! Throughout dating they talked about marriage on and off and realized they wanted the same things for their future. Bill knew that he wanted to marry Nicole and surprised her when he proposed! They were traveling in California when they reached an overlook. Even though Bill didn’t have the ring in that moment, he knew it was the perfect time to ask Nicole to be his wife!
Their Pink and Grey Lancaster Wedding
From the start Bill and Nicole told me that they wanted their wedding day to be small and a little less formal. They have such a great love for each other and really wanted to celebrate that among their closest friends and family in a relaxed setting. I would say that their Lancaster wedding definitely accomplished that. From their first look in the Garden of the Five Senses, and their vows under the gazebo, to their picnic under a pavilion, everything reflected their hopes for a more relaxed wedding. One of my favorite parts of the reception was the little rocks that Nicole’s niece painted for the wedding! Did I mention the wooden floral bouquets that Nicole selected for her girls? They were such beautiful keepsakes!
