Last weekend we ended up back at Harvest View Barn for a beautiful lavender and navy wedding. This wedding was the perfect transition into fall. From the lavender bridesmaids dresses to the hand crafted details from Noelle’s cousin, everything came together so perfectly. I loved each of the hand lettered signs, and their ceremony in front of the most perfect Willow Tree! I can’t wait for you to see the perfection of this rustic wedding.
How They Met and the Proposal
Throughout the entire wedding, including the ceremony and the toasts, everyone recounted their memories of how these two met. Lets just say, Noelle wasn’t too eager as Chris tried to peak her interest! They both attended West Chester University where Noelle played soccer and Chris played baseball. After finally catching Noelle’s eye, their story began. Chris coordinated the perfect surprise proposal. Chris reached out to Noelle’s friend who was pursing photography and arranged for her to take pictures of Noelle. He secretly set up a few frames at the park where Noelle was going for pictures and pinned pictures of the two of them and their dog. Stanley, their dog, HAD to be a part of the proposal so Chris made him a suit collar and bow-tie that he wore with a letter. That letter asked Noelle if Chris could be his dad. After Noelle read the letter, Chris asked her to marry him… which brings us to their wedding! (Check out their engagement session here!)
Their Lavender and Navy Historic View Barn Wedding
Every little detail was thought out for this beautiful rustic wedding at Harvest View Barn. The barn itself is such a stunning venue, and when filled with close friends and family, it is the perfect place to celebrate your first day as husband and wife! We started the day in the farmhouse photographing the girls and guys getting ready. Chris and each of his guys had the best superhero socks and Noelle’s dress was a beautiful (and sparkly) accent against her lavender bridesmaids gowns. Noelle and Chris shared in a fun first look outside of the farmhouse and then got married under a beautiful willow tree. I will say, their first kiss was pretty epic! Chris swung Noelle around into a perfect dip as he kissed his wife for the first time :)
