This weekend was one filled with love, laughter… And rain :P We started our weekend at Springton Manor Farm with a lovely celebration with guests from around the world! Our groom, James, is originally from Austrailia so many of their guests had a long way to travel! Sibel & James’s intimate ceremony at Springton Manor Farm was definitely a love worth celebrating.

How They Met & The Proposal

Sibel & James met online last year and spent their first date getting to know each other. Sibel’s favorite moment from their first date was when James suggested they dance and from the first spin, Sibel knew there was something special. This past February James and Sibel were taking a walk on the Williamsburg Pier at sunset, which was the same pier that they took their first selfies the year before! With the ring hidden in his sock, James bent down to “rub his ankle” and before she knew it, Sibel was saying yes to his perfect sunset proposal!

As we approached this Friday wedding, the weather was NOT looking good. Originally it was supposed to be STORMING for this entire wedding! Instead we lucked out and it ended up being overcast with just a bit of mist throughout the day. I arrived at Springton Manor Farm to find Sibel’s STUNNING dress, which made it to this exact place all the way from London… yes London, ENGLAND! When I mentioned that this was an international wedding, I really meant it! Sibel’s ring was one of the most unique rings I’ve ever seen, her flowers were gorgeous, the venue – absolute perfection and their love… so beautiful. I’m so very excited to share this wonderful wedding at Springton Manor Farm :)
