It was definitely overcast and DOWNPOURED randomly throughout the day, but this wedding at the Historic Round Barn in Gettysburg ended up being the perfect country affair!
How They Met & The Proposal
Brad met Brooke by chance almost two years ago when they both ended up in a random bar dancing together! That night they shared their lives with each other and never stopped. Brad decided to propose on his birthday at her favorite outdoor restaurant. He got down on one knee in front of Brooke’s family and made sure she knew that she was the best birthday present he could think of. From now on he’ll get to spend the rest of his birthdays to come with the love of his life. :)
Their Historic Round Barn Wedding
Because of the rain, instead of getting married at the spot overlooking the Round Barn, Brooke and Brad got married in front of the most beautiful wall of lights in the barn! The girls all wore cowboy boots and had the best pink and orange flowers and pumpkins for their FUN fall wedding! By their ceremony, the rain had let up and was just misting and overcast so we were able to go outside for portraits :) They shared the first dance under the string lights and even surprised Brooke’s grandparents when they presented them with the bouquet and garter and asked them to share a dance. It was so unique and such a fun way to honor the love of just a few of the people who had a small hand in getting them where they are today.
