Choosing a theme for Lyla’s second birthday party was proving to be difficult until my mother-in-law suggested that we do a Pom Pom party. Lyla LOVES Pom Poms. She’ll take the entire bag of them and throw them around screaming POM POM!!! When I was designing the invitation though, I couldn’t figure out a way to include Pom Poms without it looking like polka dots… SO CLEARLY I had to include sprinkles and donuts.
We kept a simple menu but tried to spice up the decorations. I made all of the Pom Poms myself and printed as many photos as I could. We made the donut stands and mini donut wall through BM Squared Wood Studio and laser etched Lyla’s Favorite things board through the wood studio too! The adorable cookies are from Betty Sue Bakes on Instagram, who happens to be one of my bride’s moms!!
