This past weekend we travelled up to Lewisburg (which is close to where we used to live!) for Laura & Jimmy’s wedding at Colonial Pines. Of all of the venues in that area, I really think Colonial Pines is my favorite! From the beautiful mansion with such charm and the best columns, to the rustic barn, everything about it is right up my alley! I loved celebrating Laura and Jimmy’s marriage and celebrating with their adorable daughter and families!

How the Met & The Proposal

Six years ago, both Laura and Jimmy each ended up at the casinos in Atlantic City with mutual friends for a fun night. Their entire group met up and the rest is history. They shared their first date at a friend’s house around a campfire, which Jimmy followed up a few days later by cooking Laura her favorite meal! One of the most important things about Laura and Jimmy is their adorable daughter Kennedy! The three of them were on vacation in Wildwood and after a climb to the top of a lighthouse with a beautiful view, Jimmy finally asked Laura to marry him!!

Their Colonial Pines Wedding

I arrived to Colonial Pines to hear the birds chirping and sun shining! It was seriously a beautiful day for a wedding and I couldn’t wait to finally meet Laura and Jimmy’s daughter Kennedy! Kennedy is filled with such spunk and couldn’t have been more excited for her parents to get married. We had to have her try on her mom’s wedding gown, which was such a fun and sweet moment. I loved Laura’s choice of long bridesmaids dresses and her own dress was so unique! For those of you who know me, I love succulents and Laura’s reception tables were topped off with succulents! One of the best parts and biggest hits was the kettle corn favors from Knoebels. Everyone was eating it before dinner even started, it was the best! We ended the night with a beautiful sunset, which matched Laura’s wedding colors so perfectly.
