We’ve been all over for sessions recently and last week we ended up at one of our favorite places, Longwood Gardens! It was my first time being there with the gorgeous new fountains! Lets just say, I’m obsessed :)
How they met & The proposal
Sharon and Derek met while in college at Penn State. Sharon is from China and they were introduced by a mutual friend. They ended up being friends for most of college and then one day things turned romantic! There wasn’t a need for a formal first date since they already knew each other so well. A little over a year ago Derek and Sharon had talked about ring styles that she likes. Unknown to her, Derek got the perfect ring and ordered a beautiful ring box. Before Sharon got home, he opened the ring box to slip in her perfect ring and repackage the whole box! Sharon got home and thought that she was just opening a box that got delivered, only to find the perfect ring waiting for her and Derek d asking a special question :)
Their Longwood Gardens Engagement
Sharon and I talked on the phone quite a few months ago and I couldn’t wait to meet her and Derek! Sharon and Derek will be getting married in China later this year, but since they live in Philadelphia, they wanted to make sure to document their love in the area! We decided that Longwood Gardens would be the perfect spot for their engagement, and I am so glad. The new fountains were perfect and Sharon’s outfits were both so cute! I absolutely loved her tulle skirt and had to have them spin quite a few times to show it off :P
