It was nearly an exact year since I got to visit Springton Manor Farm. Last time, I had a little bigger of a belly (while growing a tiny human), but I got to spend time with the same two sweet souls. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, but The Manor House at Springton Manor Farm is definitely a Top 5 Favorite Venue for me! From the views to the beautiful light, everything is just magical and Springton Manor Farm. I can’t wait for you to see this fall wedding at The Manor House at Springton Manor Farm :)
How They Met & The Proposal
Nicole and Wes met on move-in day at Lock Haven University on their first day of college. One of Nicole’s friends mentioned that a few people from her high school were also moving in so they went to meet up with them. It just so happens that one of those lovely friends was Wes! However, it wasn’t until a little later that they both found themselves available. Which leads us much further down the road to when he proposed! Upon occasion Wes is known to put on a song and ask Nicole to dance at home. They love slow dancing together at the end of the night, so when Nicole came back in from walking her sister to her car and Wes asked her to dance, she didn’t sense any red flags. They danced together to their song and Nicole reluctantly allowed herself to be “spun around” by Wes. What Nicole didn’t expect was that when she finished her spin, Wes would be on one knee!
Their Manor House at Springton Manor Farm Wedding
Nicole loves everything dark and twisty, so it wasn’t by chance that she chose a wedding date close to Halloween. I’m going to be honest, from what Nicole described, I did NOT have the correct vision of how this wedding at Springton Manor Farm would come together :P Let’s just say I was not the least bit disappointed! I think the two best “dark and twisty” parts was the welcome table where their guest book was a skull, and their gargoyle cake topper to which Nicole added a little bow tie and flower crown. I love the outdoor ceremony spot in front of the big tree at Springton Manor Farm. The flowers from Belovely were absolutely amazing and seriously matched perfectly to the bridesmaids dress AND tablecloths!
