This past weekend we started our wedding season and got to celebrate with the best couple! We aren’t often in the city, but when we are, we make the most of it! This Ballroom at the Ben wedding is definitely one for the books! From the gorgeous florals to Tracy’s stunning gown, to the love these two have for each other, you’ll love every bit of this wedding day!
How they met & The proposal
Tracy and Ryan originally met at work when they ended up on the same job. It wasn’t until a few years later that they ended up at a Sixers game when Ryan asked for Tracy’s number. He asked her on a date the following week and kept the date going as long as they could! The proposal is one you won’t forget! For you America’s Got Talent fans, you might remember the previous Eagles player, Jon Dorenbos, who is crazy talented on the field, but also a magician off the field. At the time Jon was the Philadelphia Eagles long snapper and also on his way to the AGT finale. As the phones popped out to film his tricks, Ryan kept urging Tracy to sit up front so he would do them on her. She describes the rest as a blur because the next thing she knew was that Jon turned a half dollar into a ring and then Ryan was down on one knee asking her to be his! He surprised her by taking her to another box where all of her friends and family were waiting to celebrate! Cue all the tears :P

Their Ballroom at the Ben Wedding
Tracy and Ryan are two of the sweetest people. Tracy’s dad hung out with the guys as they got dressed and Ryan took the time to just chat with him, and tell him who each of his groomsmen were and how he knew each of them. We joined Tracy and Ryan at Hotel Monaco. Tracy was surrounded by so many friends, and two adorable flower girls! The bridesmaids blush gowns were so beautiful and Tracy’s gown was absolutely stunning… a TOTAL favorite!
We headed to Old St. Mary’s for their ceremony, and it was such an honor to see these two become one! We were worried about the weather all day (like torrential downpour and massive storms!). It ended up holding off until the reception and Washington Square Park was the perfect place for portraits. Aside from Tracy’s gorgeous gown, she had the longest veil… and if you don’t know how I feel about veils, well they might just be my favorite!!
This was my first time at Ballroom at the Ben and MAN is it a beautiful venue! Ram Floral created such beautiful centerpieces. The tall flowers had a beautiful hanging geometric accent, and other tables had little terrariums (the way to my own heart!).
