Last year around this time we joined Adrienne Matz Photography to shoot a beautiful winter wedding at Cairnwood Estate! I’m sensing a trend with snow in March because Cairnwood was beautifully coated with a fresh layer of snow just before this wedding. It was my first time photographing at Cairnwood Estate and MAN, was it amazing! Its almost as if a little slice of Europe was transported to our backyard outside of Philadelphia. Not to mention how stunning Bryn Athyn Cathedral is as well!
Their Winter Cairnwood Estate Wedding
This winter Cairnwood Estate wedding was infused with the luck of the Irish! We celebrated last year on St. Patricks Day and there were such perfect nods to the holiday within the wedding. The bridesmaids were dressed in green, the bride had beautiful green shoes, the guys had great socks (Star Wars themed!) and the groom wore one of my favorite ties from last year! The groom gifted pint glasses to his groomsmen that silhouetted their different beard lengths, which I found absolutely hilarious :)
The shared a quiet and intimate first look out front of Cairnwood and were just so excited to see each other. It is so special to get to experience not only the joy but the excitement as two people who are making such a huge commitment get to embrace and see each other for the first time on their wedding day! After we took some stunning portraits around Cairnwood Estate, we ventured over to the Cathedral for their wedding! Did I mention how gorgeous the cathedral is? They danced the night away back at Cairnwood Estate and I couldn’t have had a better St. Patricks Day celebration!
