This wedding at Union Mills homestead was our second of wedding last weekend! After a hot day on Saturday we were praying for a cooler day and it ended up being the PERFECT weather!! From the beautiful barn at Union Mills Homestead to their coral and blue colors, Elizabeth and Brian spent a wonderful first day as a married couple with their closest family and friends.

How They Met & The Proposal

Their story begins three years ago when they met in Ohio! They had some mutual friends and spotted each other at a few different events :) For their first date, they went on a romantic bike ride and continued getting to know each other! After a few years of dating, Brian had learned about Elizabeth’s dream proposal! Lets just say… Hot Air Balloons!! Elizabeth had always dreamt of a hot air balloon proposal and Brian made it happen! He woke her up before sunrise, dressed and ready and asker her to come with him. They took a romantic sunrise hot air balloon ride and when it came time to pop the question, Brian asked her to marry him, but was too nervous to get on one knee so high up in the air! Needless to say, Elizabeth said yes! Which brings us to their gorgeous wedding day… :)

When I asked what Elizabeth and Brian were most looking forward to on their wedding day, they said they were most looking forward to celebrating with friends and family. They’ve been blown away by all of the love that their friends and family have shown them during their engagement. They couldn’t wait to create beautiful memories… and beautiful memories they did make!!
