Omni at Bedford Springs Wedding | Brittani Elizabeth Photography

Last Friday I had the distinct pleasure of photographing Emily and Colin’s wedding at the Omni at Bedford Springs. Let me tell you, nothing could have prepared me for this resort. Yes, I looked up pictures of weddings as well as the resort itself, but when you drive up to this place it is just massive AND beautiful! The Omni at Bedford Springs is tucked in a mountainous landscape and is the perfect setting for a wedding. I can’t wait to shoot here again!

This was not an entirely normal wedding for me. I arrived and was greeted by hugs and smiles, but it was ALSO the first time I was meeting Emily! Usually I’m with my couples all the way from their engagement through the wedding day, and by the end of the evening it felt like I’d always known Emily and Colin. Emily has a bubbling spirit and never held back her welcoming smile. Colin was patient and kind. I could tell before ever seeing them together that they were a match made in heaven! I loved that they had gotten gifts to surprise one another with. Emily attached a little note to the watch that she gave Colin that read “see you at 4:30” which was also the time for which is was set :) And Colin surprised Emily with a set of pear earrings and a necklace from Tiffany’s! There’s nothing like that little blue box! Even though it was rainy, Emily and Colin’s spirits were bright enough to fill in for the sun!

To Emily and Colin: Thank you for opening up the doors into your lives for us to capture your amazing love for a day. We had so much fun getting to know the two of you and seeing the pure joy radiating as you promised your lives to each other before God and your closest family and friends.
