If you remember our previous post about the what does a wedding planner do, you’ll recognize a familiar face. :) Once again we had Lora of Laurel and Elm Events help us out with some more advice on wedding wedding planning! So many of my brides ask me if they really need a wedding planner, and the answer is always yes! If it is in budget, I ALWAYS recommend hiring a wedding planner. They take so much of your stress away on your wedding day, and that is definitely worth it.
I asked Lora one simple question… Why do I need a wedding planner? (and I LOVE her answer!)
Why do I need a wedding planner?
First and foremost, so you can just enjoy being engaged! Chances are, this is the first time you’ve planned a wedding. We’ve planned many, many weddings and know what works and what doesn’t. In addition to all of the services we provide on the day of (or months or years out depending on your package!) we take on all of the stress you would otherwise deal with, which is priceless in my opinion because you’ll never get this special time in your life back!
Not only do wedding planners take your stress away, but if you need it, they also help you hire your other vendors to make sure your wedding day is everything you ever dreamed of! With partial and full service planning (and many custom packages created in between), Lora handles all of the legwork of seeking out vendor availability all within your style and budget. Even in her day-of coordination package, where the client handles the vendor relationships, she’s always happy to send some of her favorite friendors your way if she thinks it would be a good fit!
Thank you so much Lora for sharing some insight into why wedding planners are so valuable!
