Natalie’s Wedding Details | Greenville, SC

As some of you may know, a few weeks ago my best friend in the whole world GOT MARRIED!! We just posted about the gift we made them and today is all about the details! The entire wedding day was filled with so much happiness and love from all directions. I absolutely love that I actually knew her husband before I even knew her, and I know that he will continue to make her happy for the rest of their lives.

Over the last year Natalie, some of her closest friends and family and I teamed up to help with her wedding and all events involved. I don’t think I could have expected to actually become friends with all of them in that time and to consider those girls some of my close friends, not just Natalie’s friends. Okay, back to the wedding day!

We woke up to a beautiful morning in South Carolina and the ten of us (9 bridesmaids + the bride!) piled into a massive van to be shuttled over to the Bo Stegall Salon and something happened that rarely happens on a wedding day… we were EARLY! The salon wasn’t even unlocked when we got there, so our shuttle driver took us on a short tour of downtown Greenville (so cute!). Upon our ultimate arrival at the salon we were greeted with smiling faces and delicious mimosas. Let me tell you, this salon was the most stunning and eye catching salon that I’ve ever been in. The entire place was a photoshoot waiting to happen!

We had allotted about 7 hours for everyone’s hair at the salon, so throughout the day I got different items of Natalie’s and found tons of great spots around the salon to photograph them. Unfortunately my Matron of Honor duties took over after we left the salon and I don’t have pictures from the rest of the day, but I do have one last story (post salon) to include.

As we were preparing to leave the salon, somehow we got behind on time by about 15 minutes (yet all of our hair was done over an hour early). Natalie had her only moment of stress that day as we finally all threw ourselves in the van as fast as possible and then we realized that we couldn’t fit everyone! The ride for four of the parents had mistakenly left! So of course Bo (our wonderful stylist) quickly came to the rescue and drove them himself! Our conversation in the shuttle started out to be about how dreamy and wonderful Bo is (he totally saved the day!) and what followed was pure magic. One of the girls in the back put on “Let it go” and ALL NINE bridesmaids proceeded to belt, I mean BELT, out the song to serenade Natalie. Pure magic.

The rest of the day went flawlessly and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect fall day in South Carolina. One of my favorite moments (besides serenading Natalie) was when I gave her a letter from Koy. She sat down on a little bench outside of the bridal suite and was too excited/nervous to read it alone so I stayed outside with her while she read it. She looked up at me after two words with the most perfect tears in her eyes. Her excitement and love was just radiating so much that I started to tear up (and I’m not a cryer!!)! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful friend and I still can’t believe she’s married!!
