Oh where do I start with this Moonstone Manor wedding?! Let’s just say it was everything… From the mix-matched bridesmaid dresses to Brooke’s flower crown to the touches of succulents (my favorite!!), everything about this wedding was absolute perfection! Brooke and Chris love being active and love nature and that really showed throughout their wedding day!

how they met & the proposal

Brooke and Christopher met online and for their first date, they met up at Pinchot State Park and went running together. (They both love to run!) They prolonged their time together by continuing for a walk by the lake, laying in the grass and simply getting to know each other. Their proposal was on a perfect and crisp fall afternoon in October. They went on a long bike ride where at the end, Christopher led the way on a slightly longer route. She followed him as he led her to  a huge sycamore tree they discovered the previous winter. As they walked their bikes up to the sycamore, Brooke noticed the inside of this hollowed out tree was all lit up with string lights. Their Moonstone Manor Wedding

Friends, this wedding was one for the books! It may have DOWN-POURED during the reception but Brooke and Christopher’s wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect. I arrived to a sunny and beautiful morning at Moonstone, which continued all the way to the reception! Brooke and Christopher’s family and friends were so welcoming and just as excited as the two of them were! Brooke wore the most beautiful of flower crowns and was my first bride who did!! When I saw that Christopher’s boutonniere was in fact a succulent and that Brooke had a beautiful succulent in her bouquet I’m pretty sure I squealed!! This whole wedding was after my own heart! Moonstone Manor is such a beautiful and romantic place to celebrate such a wonderful wedding :)
