This wedding was one that was long awaited and anticipated by all!! Cassidy and Sean have been together most of their lives and you can tell by how sweet and close their families are.
How they Met & the Proposal
These two met in the fifth grade!! It wasn’t until a year later in the sixth grade that they started dating, though :P As I’m sure all of our memories are super clear from sixth grade, Cassidy and Sean can’t pinpoint an exact “first date” but they do remember searching for honeysuckle bushes and still get excited to indulge in the nectar when they happen upon one now! A few years ago (thanks COVID for the delays), Sean took Cassidy for a special date and set up a picnic. He started pulling out all of Cassidy’s FAVORITE foods. When Cassidy thought he had sufficiently emptied the basket, he told her he had one more thing. He stood her up before getting down on one knee and asked her to be his wife!

Whew! This wedding was one that I have been looking forward to for a while. Thanks to COVID, they had to delay a year, but also THANKS TO COVID because this wedding was still an absolute dream! Cassidy and Sean know each other so well and so do their families! Most of the toasts joked about how this was a long time coming and how young these two were when they started dating, and I just loved hearing about how much history and love these sweet families have for each other. I’m completely obsessed with the classic-ness of this wedding and how absolutely perfect everything was!
