Whew! This wedding was a hot one but a GORGEOUS one!! Katie and John had the most beautiful wedding day, and throughout the day, they made sure no one got overheated. They are such a considerate couple and I loved getting to spend this day with them.
Their Holly Hedge Estate Wedding
While photographing Katie’s details in the old barn at Holly Hedge Estate, I had such a fun time seeing the florist install the flowers in the barn. Judge for yourself, but I think they made the perfect backdrop for Katie and John’s portraits (while keeping everyone cool!).
Katie and John made it through a long distance relationship for years before John moved from Ireland to the States early last year. They met when Katie studied abroad in Ireland, which her dad warned her not to bring home an Irish boyfriend… oops! I’m glad that is the one bit of advice she didn’t follow from her dad, because John is such a great guy! I’m so thankful we finally had the chance to celebrate the two of them surrounded by their family and friends at Holly Hedge Estate!
