This past weekend we wrapped up our 2017 wedding season with a little holiday magic and a wonderful couple as they celebrated their union with family and friends at Union Trust in Philadelphia!
How they Met & The Proposal
Lindsay and John met at work when they were working on a project together. Being in Philadelphia, they went out on their first date to Parc, by Rittenhouse and then went to the Dandelion after! John planned the perfect proposal. He surprised Lindsay by taking her to a special place in Center City and had an entire engagement party planned after for them to celebrate with friends and family!
Their Union Trust Wedding
From talking with Lindsay and John before the wedding, I knew it would be a fun one! The decided on a gold and black color scheme and I loved how they incorporated different elements. From the stunning floral arrangements by Petals Lane, to their escort cards which instructed to “Find your Party Animal” I loved every bit! Lindsay’s dress from Pronovias NYC was such a stunner with the lace sleeves. The Union League holds a special place in Lindsay and John’s relationship so we decided to do their first look and portraits there. We started in the Library before wandering to different areas and of Cours ending on the front steps :) Lindsay’s veil was absolutely magical and SO long!! After the sunset we went to Union Trust for their beautiful ceremony and reception! Seriously, I’m pretty sure my favorite part was the escort display, I knew it would be a GREAT party as soon as I saw that :)
