October is a crazy time for weddings, probably because everything is so beautiful as the colors change to fall and the weather is usually perfect! This past October, it rained the first weekend and was overcast for half of the second weekend. Gillian and Alex’s wedding was the first wedding that the sun was back and shining and MAN was I glad! I second shot with Adrienne Matz Photography for this wedding last year at the General Warren Inne.
Their General Warren Inne Wedding
This wedding was such a beautiful and intimate wedding. The General Warren Inne has a restaurant that was just filled with Gillian and Alex’s family and friends. They shared their first look by the cutest little hut before we walked around the grounds of the Inne for some portraits. I’m not going to lie, I think that Gillian’s dress may have been my favorite of the year! I loved how soft it was and it complimented her complexion SO perfectly. Her bouquet was so unique and I also loved her mismatched bridesmaids dresses! Both Gillian and Alex were just wonderful people with genuine hearts and happiness as they joined as one! Their wedding took place just outside of the General Warren Inne on the lawn. They did a first look so that they could participate and visit with their guests during cocktail hour. At the end of their cocktail hour, before we headed inside for dinner they shared in their first dance on the patio under the open sky. This wedding was so obviously and simply about their love and it was such a joy to be a part of.
