Every New Years Eve since Benjamin and I started dating 7 years ago (its been that long?!) we’ve done a craft together. Our New Years Craft has definitely become a tradition over the years. Although we do still love seeing friends earlier in the day, we’ve found that we’d rather stay in, make a fire and do a craft together while watching everyone else freeze their butts off! Our second new years together, when trying to come up with an excuse not to brave the cold, we decided that a craft was just the thing to do! And thus began our love of crafting and our New Years tradition!

Over the years we’ve done a bunch of different things from acrylic paintings, to a silk painting, chalk pastel paintings, crayon art (like when you melt them on a canvas), refinishing a side table and the most recent, repainting a globe!
