I haven’t been hiding my love for the sun recently and this session is no different! I am so thankful that the rainy days have passed and I’ve gotten to take FULL advantage of this weather with some of the best couples!
Last night we met up with Kaitlin and Kameron for their engagement session AND I get to see them again on Saturday for their wedding!! You might be thinking WOAH, why is their engagement session so close to their wedding? Well I’m glad you asked! :P These two currently live in Florida and this was the first opportunity we had to get together with both Kaitlin and Kameron in Pennsylvania… and it didn’t disappoint :)
How They Met
Kaitlin and Kameron originally met almost ten years ago crammed in a car on the way to Applebees. On that car ride they found their first thing in common was that they both wanted to listen to country music in that moment but were quickly vetoed by the other passengers of the car. :P
The Proposal
Kameron had the perfect plan to propose on Kaitlin’s birthday while they were on vacation in New Orleans, but as things sometimes do, his plans changed! He decided to wait until they were back in Florida for a more intimate setting. They are both lovers of boating so Kameron took her out on his boat to his favorite sandbar to ask her that important question!
Their Valley Forge Engagement
I was so looking forward to meeting Kaitlin and Kameron! Usually when we are going through the final touches and last minute plans for weddings, we’ve already met the couple, but this time it was different! I felt like I already knew Kaitlin between our emails and calls about the wedding so when the moment came to finally meet these two, I was thrilled :) Kaitlin and Kameron were so fun to hang out with and despite the 90 degree weather, looked flawless! I absolutely loved when Kaitlin came out in her floor length navy dress – so stunning! The light was perfect, and Valley Forge did not disappoint with a wonderful sunset and beautiful greens all around!
