This was one of the most beautiful engagement sessions based on what crazy weather we had to deal with!! We arrived to The Highlands Mansion and Gardens to severe thunderstorm warnings, but no rain. I think we checked the radar every 5 minutes to make sure we wouldn’t get soaked, and we ended up getting through half of the session before a single raindrop!
How They Met
Sam and Jason met through her best friend who knows everyone. After Sam’s friend set them up, they started talking and ended up going out a few times before they really got serious. They ended up going on their first date on Valentines Day, which Sam thought was SO special, and Jason had no idea!
The Proposal
You’re going to see the fluffiest pup and the proposal wouldn’t have been complete without participation from Jagger :) Jason made a special tag that said “Will you marry my dad?” When Sam saw it, Jason got down on one knee and the rest is history! After Sam said YES, they went to her mom’s house to celebrate with friends and family.
Their Highlands Mansion Engagement in Ambler
I mentioned before we were up against severe thunderstorms for this engagement session and I am so thankful for trusting couples! The storm ended up hitting halfway through the session so we waited it out and still had time to get in Sam and Jason’s entire second outfit AFTER the storm :) They brought their pup Jagger with them and I just can’t get over how fluffy and soft he is! He is also a big ball of energy and we were so thankful that Sam’s mom came along to entertain him. Even though the gardens weren’t in bloom, the setting at The Highlands Mansion in Ambler was just perfect (and private!). I can’t imagine how beautiful it is when it is in full bloom!
