Let me just start by saying a little about Mary and John. These two are so great (and so in love!). Mary and I became friends in high school, and fell a little out of touch through college. When her name popped up on my phone and she was asking about wedding photography I was so surprised, but even more so, excited!! After meeting John and seeing how he and Mary interact, it is evident why they found each other. Between the laughs, the side glances, I could see the overall satisfaction of having the other by their side.
I always say everything happens for a reason, so when I got the call that Mary and John couldn’t make it to our originally scheduled sunrise shoot due to a coffee mishap, we promptly rescheduled for that evening. It ends up if we had not rescheduled, the locations would have been entirely different! We ended up starting out at Gettysburg College where the fountain was actually on (it wasn’t running at sunrise) and then we headed over to Beech Springs Farm where we were the first engagement to shoot there… EVER! (how exciting?!) These two ended up being so playful during the Gettysburg engagement session and were such a joy to hang out with :)
