How They Met & The Proposal

Megan and Eric met at college while attending Shippensburg University. They had a lot of mutual friends and didn’t think any of them knew they were seeing each other, so for the first date they had a “secret date” movie night at his apartment… It turned out that everyone already knew! These two had a fairytale beach proposal in Aruba! While on vacation with Megan’s family, she asked each and every person if there was a possibility of a proposal. They all appeared super clueless and she was convinced it wasn’t going to happen. Megan’s family and friends did a phenomenal job of keeping the secret because Eric successfully surprised Megan with a sandy proposal on the beach!

Where do I start with these two?! Despite it being blazingly hot and humid outside and the impending threat of rain, Megan and Eric had a beautiful outdoor ceremony by the lake! Not a single raindrop made an appearance (even though we had reports of rain across town!!) and these two were able to see their dream wedding come to life! Their entire wedding party was such a fun crowd and never let things get too serious! :P Their entire day was filled with laughter (mostly from me!) and lots of sunshine! The Lodges at Gettysburg was the perfect backdrop for this fun and rustic summer wedding!
