Where do I start with these two? Linwood Estate was the PERFECT setting for Jen and Ben’s engagement session and I swear if it was a wedding venue when I got married, I totally would have gotten married there! Not only was the weather absolutely wonderful, but Linwood Estate’s grounds were absolutely stunning. The trees were in bloom and the grass perfectly manicured. I didn’t even put a dent in showing off the beauty of the grounds because Jen and Ben were so captivating!

how they met

Jen and Ben (doesn’t that sound great together?!) met in college! They had quite a few classes together throughout their time there and finally started dating their senior year. Their first date was at a popular restaurant near their college and since they’d known each other for so long their first date felt totally normal!

the proposal

They were on a business trip for Jen when Ben’s grandparents suggested they check out Cooper’s Rock State Park and the great views! On a fall day last October Jen and Ben ventured out for a hike. When they got to the overlook, there were a ton of people, some getting photos others just taking in the view. When they moved from one side to the other, everyone seemed to disappear, like Ben had reserved the rock! He asked Jen to look out at the valley so he could take a picture of her and asked her if she was ready twice before she turned around to find him down on one knee with a ring in his hand! (Spoiler… She said yes! :P)

I had such a great time walking around Linwood Estate documenting Jen and Ben’s love! I loved discussing their wedding plans and I even got to see a picture of Jen’s wedding gown!! :D Can I say gorgeous?! (You’ll have to wait until next year to see it though!)
