Seriously, this venue has quickly become one of my favorite venues! Jamie and Zayne’s Historic Shady Lane Engagement was SO fun and was entirely stunning! Historic Shady Lane is a century-old property right in the heart of York County, Pennsylvania.
When Jamie messaged me and asked about wedding photography I was so surprised because I didn’t even know she was engaged! There was a good reason for my lack of knowledge… it was still a secret!! Zayne proposed on a Friday evening after Jamie came home and asked if they had any plans for that evening (they didn’t). Jamie responded with a “That’s boring” and then went outside to play with their pup. A couple minutes later Zayne came outside, got down on one knee with a ring and said, “If you want to make things exciting, we can get married!”
I’ve known Jamie since high school and she is one of the sweetest and kindest people. She loves to laugh and can have fun with anyone at any time and their Historic Shady Lane Engagement session was no different! As we wandered around the property and Jamie pointed out the plan for their wedding day my excitement blossomed while Jamie’s was overflowing! I can’t wait to return to Historic Shady Lane for their wedding :)
