This weekend didn’t go exactly as planned. We travelled to Gettysburg for some time with family before this gorgeous engagement session… except on Saturday we had sever thunderstorms instead of beautiful weather! After a few emails and a phone call, we decided to postpone Taylor & Cameron’s Fallen Tree Farm engagement session to the next night, and it was SO worth it!! Although the temperature was a bit cooler than expected, these Californians didn’t let it show! The light was beautiful and Fallen Tree Farm was perfect.
How They Met
Taylor and Cameron originally met through a mutual friend on Facebook. They went out to dinner and Cameron casually mentioned that he golfs and had taken golf lessons for 10 years. Well it turns out that Taylor’s grandfather is a pretty well-know golfer AND had actually taught Cameron for those 10 years. His entire family knew Taylors grandfather!! If that isn’t fate, I don’t know what is!
The Proposal
It was a quiet evening that Cameron and Taylor were just spending together in the comfort of their home. He lit a single candle in their kitchen and asked her that one important question that every girl dreams of… He hadn’t planned to propose in the kitchen, he had planned to propose on a trip to D.C. but when the moment comes, sometimes you have to adapt :)
Their Fallen Tree Farm Engagement
We met up with Taylor and Cameron at Fallen Tree Farm Bed and Breakfast in Carlisle, PA. They are both originally from California and this is their first Pennsylvania winter (and what a strange one at that!). Even though the temperature was 10+ degrees cooler from the day before, these two braved the brisk air as we wandered around the Bed and Breakfast on a beautiful winter evening. I still can’t get over how beautiful the light was their entire session! My favorite part was probably the chickens that were just wandering around and kept following us, it was hilarious!
