Summer is such a beautiful time for weddings and this wedding at the Chesapeake Beach Resort was just that! It may have been a warm summer day, but the bright colors, gorgeous setting and the love between Bree and Dylan was perfection!

How They Met & The Proposal

For those of you who remember the predecessor to Facebook, that’s where this love story started… Yes, on MySpace! Bree and Dylan met in high school at a lacrosse game after chatting on MySpace :P After getting to know each other and falling in love over the years to follow, Dylan surprised Bree when he proposed on his birthday last year in a sunflower field! Bree thought they were just going to take pictures with Dylan’s cousins in the sunflower fields, and instead she got the surprise of a lifetime! I loved their sunrise Havre De Grace engagement session from last fall too!

Their Chesapeake Beach Resort Wedding

This was my first (almost!) beach wedding!! I absolutely love when couples choose a venue that represents them and their interests and Chesapeake Beach Resort was the perfect setting for these two to share their first day as a married couple. From the bridesmaid’s hot pink dresses to the handmade silk bouquets made by a family friend (shoutout to Roseann!), this was a beautiful summer wedding. I love when couples are able to get ready at the same location because that makes it so easy to get a lot of the photos done before the ceremony! Their ceremony spot was nestled on a little beach area at resort and had the absolutely best view overlooking the bay! I loved that Bree included pictures of her passed loved ones on her bouquet AND Dylan’s reaction to seeing his beautiful bride!
