With this warm weather we’re having this week, its making me DREAM of the weather we had last week for Nicole and Alex’s summer Valley Forge engagement session. I met Alex in high school at the same time I met my husband! Yes, we totally met during the high school plays/musicals :P We were friends through high school and kept in touch over the years. When we moved to the Philadelphia suburbs we got together for game nights while Nicole was at her externships. Alex was at our wedding and I am so excited to be a part of his wedding too!
How they met & the proposal
Alex and Nicole met at Millersville University almost 8 years ago! On their first date they went out for pizza – who doesn’t love pizza?! After being together for quite a few years and moving to the Philadelphia suburbs, Alex proposed in their Elkins Park apartment! Nicole had been finishing optometry school and upon her return from her externships Alex had the best surprise. He decorated their apartment with candles, orchids AND roses and filled it with pictures of the two of them throughout their relationship!
Their Summer Valley Forge Engagement
Last week I got to hang out with Nicole, Alex and their adorable pup Remi! The weather was beautiful and the sun was shining! We wandered around Valley Forge at Knox’s Quarters, which has the best rustic atmosphere and just across the water is the Philander Chase Knox Estate which might be my favorite place in Valley Forge! My favorite part might have been playing with Remi. She was such a sweet pup and loved having her picture taken :) I can’t wait until next year when I get to celebrate Alex and Nicole as the get married!! It is sure to be one awesome wedding!
